Torriden Balanceful Cica Cream is a soothing, strengthening and oil-balancing moisturizer especially for oily, acne-prone and combination skin that gets irritated easily.

The face cream is enriched with a generous amount of soothing Centella Asiatica extract (Torriden's patented T-TECA -compound*), panthenol and allantoin, which together effectively soothe redness and irritation and help prevent the occurrence of infections.
Hyaluronic acids and peptides help to moisturize and nourish the skin, creating a long-lasting moisture barrier on the skin. A touch of AHA and LHA help prevent the formation of impurities and promote softness and strengthen the skin's protective barrier.

Fragrance-free, non-comedogenic, hypoallergenic and skin irritation tested, the moisturizer is also suitable for sensitive skin and has a gel-like, lightweight texture that absorbs easily and feels pleasant - all without a sticky feeling ♡

The benefits of Centella Asiatica extract in skin care

Centella's antioxidants calm the irritated by relieving inflammation and reducing redness. It also improves and regenerates the skin and supports collagen production. In addition, centella brightens and evens out the skin tone, helps the skin retain moisture and reduces the visibility of scars.

Centella can have many different names depending on which part of the plant has been used, or what kind of extracts and oils have been made from it; eg Centella Asiatica Extract, Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract and Centella Asiatica Root Extract. In many cultures, including Korea, centella is also known as Tiger grass or Tiger herb. The name comes from the legend that wounded tigers would seek out wild centella and rub themselves on the plant's leaves to heal.
