Hwarang' Bellflower Cleansing Balm effectively removes makeup, sunblock, and impurities accumulated on the skin during the day. Its sherbet-like formula allows the balm to melt easily at body temperature, spreading smoothly on the skin with minimal pressure.

Bellflower root extract, rich in saponins, provides anti-aging and anti-inflammatory effects. 
Guaiazulene, a blue extract from chamomile oil, not only creates the beautiful purple colour of the balm, but also alleviates and soothes skin irritation and aids in skin repair.
Panthenol, or vitamin B5, moisturizes the skin, enhancing its elasticity and softness. The synergistic combination of these key ingredients strengthens the skin's protective barrier.

It is hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic, making it suitable for sensitive and acne-prone skin. Not to mention, it is vegan, fragrance-free and cruelty-free!

The package contains a spatula, which can be stored hygienically in the holder built into the inner lid.

Use the spatula to take a dollop of cleansing balm and warm it up in your hands. Gently massage on a dry face until makeup has completely melted. Use the spatula to do a small gua sha massage by pressing the points on the face where you feel tension.

Wash off the balm with lukewarm water and proceed to the second step of cleansing if desired.

• Cleansing balm is the 1st step of the skincare routine, used for removing makeup (also waterproof), sunscreen, and dirt: Rub a coin-sized amount of balm onto dry face in circular motions, then moisten your hands and rub your face again to emulsify the cleansing balm. Rinse off with lukewarm water and continue with the 2nd step of cleansing (e.g., cleansing gel or foam).

If skin irritation such as redness, swelling, or itching occurs after use or exposure to sunlight, discontinue use and consult a doctor if necessary. Do not use on broken skin. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight. Avoid contact with eyes. Rinse thoroughly with water if the product gets into the eyes.

Bellflower contains plenty of e.g. saponins, fight effectively against inflammation, helping the skin to calm down and regenerate more effectively. Bellflower is a traditional Korean Hanbang ingredient, which is enjoyed in South Korea in many different forms as side dishes – a kind of food supplement combined with e.g. pear or honey – and as tea, which is often the first remedy for Koreans to tame a cold or a sore throat.
