Kangasnaamio asetetaan kasvoille puhdistuksen ja kasvoveden jälkeen, seerumin sijaan, annetaan vaikuttaa 10-20 minuuttia, jonka jälkeen iholle jääneen nesteen voi taputella hellävaraisesti kasvoille poispesemättä. Yleisesti kangasnaamiot soveltuvat sekä aamu- ja iltakäyttöön, ellei tuotteessa sitä erikseen mainita.

Kollageenilla on monia hyötyjä ihon ikääntymisen merkkien hoidossa. Se paitsi kosteuttaa, myös auttaa ylläpitämään ihon kosteustasapainoa, joka taas tekee ihosta kimmoisamman näköisen. Kollageeni toimii hyvin yhdessä retinoidien, retinolin, peptidien ja C-vitamiinin kanssa.
