About Me Red Recipe Cleansing Milky Balm is a cleansing balm for the face with a milky formula that cleanses the skin of makeup and dirt, leaving it feeling soft. It contains ingredients that help to brighten the skin and improve skin health.

The cleansing balm was inspired by red-colored ingredients, such as five different red flower extracts, antioxidant-rich red superfoods (pomegranate, tomato, and red wine), vitamin and amino acid-rich hawthorn berries, and calamine clay, which is naturally reddish in color.

The cleansing balm is the 1st step of the skin care routine, e.g. for cleansing make-up, sunscreen and dirt: Rub a coin-sized dollop of the balm onto a dry face in circular motions, then wet your hands and rub the face again to emulsify the cleansing balm. Rinse off with luke-warm water and continue with step 2 cleansing (e.g. cleansing gel or foam).

If skin irritation, such as redness, swelling or itching occurs after use or exposure to sunlight, stop use of the product and consult a doctor if necessary. Do not use for broken skin. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight. Avoid contact with eyes and rinse with water if the product gets into the eyes.

Works well, washes off make-up and sunscreen easily and without clogging pores. Otherwise, I would have given five stars, but its smell was hard to bear, especially if you are prone to migraines. It smelled strongly of flowers, but not in a good way. It's probably because of the five red flower extracts that are in this. I'm still going to use it up because at least it didn't irritate the skin despite the smell.
