Skin Barrier Calming Lotion is an award-winning, soothing and moisturizing emulsion from Ongredients, especially for very dry skin that often suffers from sensitivity and irritation. This creamy formula with a light, fluid texture feels silky smooth on the skin and leaves a radiant, ice cream skin effect.

The emulsion contains antioxidative plant extracts, such as soothing centella asiatica extract, which relieves redness, heat sensation and reduces the risk of superficial inflammation in stressed and damaged skin.

Nine different peptides strengthen the skin's barrier, improve its resilience and promote the skin's natural renewal process and softness, while creating a long-lasting moisture barrier that prevents moisture loss.

Dermatologically tested, vegan, cruelty-free, EWG Green Grade formula. Free from fragrance, alcohol and mineral oils. The packaging is environmentally friendly and easy to recycle ♡

Moisturizer is the important final step in the skincare routine. Apply after other skincare products excluding face oils and sunscreen. Always patch test new products to ensure they suit your skin, especially if you have sensitive skin. Apply a small amount to an area like the neck and wait 24–48 hours to check for any reactions.

If skin irritation, such as redness, swelling or itching occurs after use or exposure to sunlight, stop use of the product and consult a doctor if necessary. Do not use for broken skin. Centella can have many different names depending on which part of the plant has been used, or what kind of extracts and oils have been made from it; eg Centella Asiatica Extract, Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract and Centella Asiatica Root Extract. In many cultures, including Korea, centella is also known as Tiger grass or Tiger herb. The name comes from the legend that wounded tigers would seek out wild centella and rub themselves on the plant's leaves to heal.

Moisturizes really well, leaves a beautiful aftertaste. Does not irritate in any way, but soothes and is suitable for rosacea skin. Leaves a slightly sticky surface, suitable under make-up. Really enough, the bottle will probably last quite a long time.
