No.8 Fine Cica Serum is an effectively soothing, balancing and brightening serum from the award-winning brand Numbuzin. It is especially great for skin prone to impurities and acne, which often suffers from inflammation and uneven skin texture.

The serum is enriched with four different types of soothing Centella Asiatica extract as well as panthenol and beta-glucan, which together effectively help relieve redness, skin irritation and minor skin inflammation, such as pimples.

Hyaluronic acid and squalane moisturize the skin, while creating a moisture barrier on the skin that prevents moisture from evaporating. Antioxidant-rich niacinamide helps fade hyperpigmentation and brightens dull skin texture.

The fragrance-free and gentle serum has a rich, thick texture, yet it absorbs into the skin quickly, with a lightweight feeling and without stickiness - the skin is left feeling calm, balanced and supple ♡

1. Use as a serum
– Pat 2-3 pumps of serum onto the skin after cleansing and toner in the mornings and/or evenings

2. Use as a moisturizer
– Apply 4-5 pumps of serum onto the skin as the last step of the skincare routine (before sunscreen) in the morning and/or evening

Serum is applied after toner, essence and ampoule, before moisturizer. A serum contains active ingredients in higher concentrations than an essence but lower than an ampoule. A serum can treat (depending on the ingredients) several different skin problems at the same time, such as uneven skin tone and dehydration. Pat the product onto the face with your hands. Always patch test new products to ensure they suit your skin, especially if you have sensitive skin. Apply a small amount to an area like the neck and wait 24–48 hours to check for any reactions.

If skin irritation, such as redness, swelling or itching occurs after use or exposure to sunlight, stop use of the product and consult a doctor if necessary. Do not use for broken skin. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight. Avoid contact with eyes and rinse with water if the product gets into the eyes.

Centella's antioxidants calm the irritated by relieving inflammation and reducing redness. It also improves and regenerates the skin and supports collagen production. In addition, centella brightens and evens out the skin tone, helps the skin retain moisture and reduces the visibility of scars.

Centella can have many different names depending on which part of the plant has been used, or what kind of extracts and oils have been made from it; eg Centella Asiatica Extract, Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract and Centella Asiatica Root Extract. In many cultures, including Korea, centella is also known as Tiger grass or Tiger herb. The name comes from the legend that wounded tigers would seek out wild centella and rub themselves on the plant's leaves to heal.
